Borrow Materials from 其他的库

The University Libraries uses 探勘者, Inter图书馆 Loan (ILL), and the High Plains 图书馆 District to provide materials unavailable at UNC by borrowing from other libraries. There is no charge to UNC faculty, staff, or students for these services. 

• 探勘者

  探勘者 is a catalog of many academic, public, and special libraries in Colorado and Wyoming. With a single search you can identify and borrow materials from these collections and have them delivered to your local 图书馆.

  你会 receive an 电子邮件 (and a text, if you are signed up for the Libraries 短信 service) when your 探勘者 items arrive.

• Inter图书馆 Loan

  The 博天堂官方图书馆 uses the Tipasa system for managing inter图书馆 loan materials. To request items from another 图书馆, submit an inter图书馆 loan request. 你会 need to log in using your UNC username and password.

  Try a search for your book in 探勘者 第一个. If the book is not available in 探勘者, submit an ILLiad request. 你 will receive an 电子邮件 (and a text, if you are signed up for the Libraries 短信 service) when the book is available to pick up from the main desk.

  文章
  Submit an inter图书馆 loan request. 你会 receive the article electronically via 电子邮件.

  dvd和cd
  Try a search for your item in 探勘者 第一个. Popular videos, DVDs, and CDs are often difficult to get through Inter图书馆 Loan.

  Dissertations and Theses
  Submit an inter图书馆 loan request. Many libraries send only microform copies or do not lend dissertations. If a dissertation is not available on loan it can often be obtained from UMI for a fee.

  交付
  Depending on location and availability, it can take from 5 days to 3 weeks to obtain requested material. 你会 be notified by e-mail when an item arrives.

  贷款时间
  The loan period for books is determined by the lending 图书馆 and is usually at least 1周. The due date is written on the colored band attached to the item.

  Items overdue by 28 days or more are considered lost and a replacement fee of $100 被指控.

• High Plains 图书馆 District

  High Plains 图书馆 District (HPLD) is the public 图书馆 system serving most of Weld County and parts of neighboring counties.

  UNC students, faculty and staff can get an HPLD 图书馆 card at 麦切纳库! Bring your UNC ID, fill out an application, and receive a card. 你 can start requesting material immediately.

  UNC students, faculty and staff with HPLD cards can pick up requested HPLD materials at 麦切纳库. When requesting an item in the HPLD catalog, select University of Northern Colorado as the pickup location. 交付 will take a couple of business days – select 电子邮件 notification to get the most accurate notifications about when your material is ready for pickup.
