The University of 北ern Colorado (UNC) celebrates its newest graduating class at its spring commencement ceremonies May 3-4, inside the Bank of Colorado Arena. 这 class includes the largest percentage of 第一个-generation 学生 receiving a bachelor’s degree in the past five years 和 the most diverse classes of graduate 和 undergraduate 学生 during that same timeframe.  

Overall, 学院 Natural 和 健康 科学 is awarding the largest number of bachelor’s degrees this year, 和 学院 教育 和 Behavioral 科学 is awarding the largest number of master’s, specialist 和 doctoral degrees. 

研究生 毕业典礼, recognizing approximately 389 学生 who will receive a doctoral, specialist or master’s degree, will take place on Friday, May 3, at 6 p.m. 

Undergraduate 毕业典礼 will include three ceremonies on Saturday, May 4, recognizing approximately 843 学生 receiving bachelor’s degrees.

• The ceremony for graduates of both 学院 教育 和 Behavioral 科学 和 学院 执行 和 视觉 艺术 begins at 9 a.m.
• The ceremony for graduates of 学院 Natural 和 健康 科学 begins at 中午.
• The ceremony for graduates of both 学院 Humanities 和 Social 科学 和 肯尼斯·W. 蒙福特商学院 begins at 3 p.m.

An additional 309 学生 are expected to complete their degree requirements this summer 和 are eligible to participate in the spring ceremonies. 

All ceremonies will be held at UNC的 Bank of Colorado Arena. Tickets are required for entry 和 are distributed to graduates electronically via 他们的bemail账户. Guests must obtain tickets before the ceremony as they are 门口没有人. 

The ceremonies can be viewed in many ways, including livestream via UNC的 website 和 on social media platforms for family 和 friends watching from home. 大学 also offers live Spanish-language interpretation services 和 viewing spaces on campus for people who want a less crowded viewing space.

• The spring undergraduate class is the most diverse one in the past five years with the number of 学生 identifying as Hispanic/Latine (24.3%)，多种族(5%)和 Black or African American (4.3%) at some of the highest percentages over that timeframe.
